Zest4.tv Limited provides outside broadcast trucks, single and multicamera solutions, live edit and audio services to the corporate, live event, live streaming and broadcast sectors. We consider every job as unique and devise bespoke solutions for every shoot.
Our in-house cameras are Sony HDC and PXW series, Blackmagic URSA, Panasonic PTZ cameras and Blackmagic minicams. We also work with a wide range of other specialist cameras (including cinematic cameras) and grip equipment.
Our in-house audio and talkback equipment is principally from Yamaha, Sennheiser and Clear-Com based with a wide range of toys from other manufacturers.

PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• Secondary education with good grades in English and Maths (B or higher)
• Creative and logical mind, with strong problem solving and IT skills
• Clean, tidy appearance and professional manner
• Highly organised individual with acute attention to detail and information retention
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Customer service experience
• Ability to be flexible working under pressure, frequently working with no direct supervision
• Vision/audio engineering, electronics and soldering skills
• High level of IT experience with systems programming and computer usage
• Full, clean manual driving licence mandatory. C1 licence is a particular bonus.

• Preparing and de-prepping broadcast/AV equipment to a high standard in a warehouse environment
• Rigging and operating cameras and associated equipment in single camera and multi-camera environments (both studio and OB)
• Spec’ing, building and setting up complex flyaway and OB truck systems, using equipment from Sony, Ross, Blackmagic, Clear-com, Panasonic, Trilogy, Textronix, Yamaha, Sonifex, VMix and be comfortable learning new equipment
• Directing/vision mixing multi-camera shoots
• VMix setup and operation in a live environment
• Live Ingest management
• Vision engineering, including building flyaway kits on-site and racking cameras
• EVS / 3Play Guarantee
• Troubleshooting and solving complex IT setups including Managed Switches
• Editing (a working knowledge of Premiere is preferred)
• Other general AV and IT technician support to corporate and broadcast clients
• Building equipment racks, general repairs to broadcast/AV equipment, testing new equipment
• Project managing outside broadcast or multi-camera shoots
• Guarantee role(s) across outside broadcasts
• Driving 3.5T vans (and 7.5T if you have a suitable licence)
