The Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Operative to join our growing team Based in York.
You’ll carry out a variety of property repairs and maintenance tasks in residential properties, working directly with residents in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Attend maintenance jobs at residential properties
Carry out a wide range of repairs: joinery, plumbing, basic electrical, plaster patching, decorating, tiling, sealant, minor roofing, and general property upkeep.
Accurately record job details, take before/after photos, and capture tenant sign-off using our system.
Liaise professionally with tenants, agents, and landlords to ensure smooth communication.
Work to agreed deadlines and provide high-quality workmanship.
Follow all health & safety procedures and report any issues.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in property maintenance or as a multi-skilled tradesperson.
Competence across at least 3–4 core trades (e.g. joinery, plumbing, decorating, tiling, plastering, electrics).
Good communication skills and professional approach with tenants/agents.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Basic IT/smartphone literacy (for job logging & photos).
