We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to work on a full time, permanent contract.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum NVQ level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering with an electrical bias.
• Electrical City & Guilds qualification is essential
• Experience within multi-skilled engineering role essential, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Experience of site plant & facilities.
• Self motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
• Good communication, numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proven exposure to TPM/WCM/Lean (desirable).

• PPM’s on a variety of processing, production, packaging and site facilities equipment.
• Reactive maintenance and machine breakdowns.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvements.
• Assisting the projects department with larger projects.
• Ensuring CMMS information is up to date.
• Working with mincers, mixers, VEMAG, check-weighers, vertical fillers, flow-wrappers, pouch machines, refrigeration plant, steam generators, air compressors and conveyors.
