JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Skilled Carpenter to become a valuable member of our growing team. This is a hands-on role that involves working on a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects across the UK, with regular requirements for overnight stays depending on project location.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship, reliability, and professionalism. A valid CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue) card is essential. You should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and have the flexibility to adapt to varying site conditions and project demands.
Applicants must have a solid background in both joinery and general carpentry, with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in carpentry and joinery, with relevant qualifications or trade certification.
  • Competent in the use of all standard carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of basic masonry principles and techniques (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous for integrated fit-out tasks.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve manual labour and lifting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel to various site locations.

Responsibilities
  • Construct, install, and dismantle temporary and permanent structures, including hoardings, framework, doors and partitions.
  • Perform lifting duties safely and in accordance with manual handling regulations.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with current health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades, including electricians, painters, and site managers, to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised work environment in line with company and site-specific health and safety policies.
