THE ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire, UK
Salary: £43,000 - £46,000
Contract and Shift details: Permanent, 40Hrs per week.
Monday to Friday operating a 3-shift pattern. 6am – 2pm, 8am- 4pm,10am -6pmm (this time can vary at short notice) with an on-call rota for 1 in 3 covering evenings and weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a key player in our site operations, you will:

• Always ensure the mechanical and electrical safety of the site.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using our Agility CMMS system.
• Quickly and safely respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with operators to plan maintenance activities efficiently.
• Help manage spare parts inventory and ordering via our P2P system.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain excellent workshop housekeeping and support site hygiene standards.
• Supervise external contractors and maintain site safety controls (e.g. Permits to Work)
