Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Carpentry and Plumbing Experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety planned and reactive general maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Solid carpentry skills, including the ability to replace doors, change locks, and perform general carpentry tasks.
  • Basic plumbing skills, including the ability to fix a leak, replace a tap and perform general plumbing tasks
  • Proficiency in using the CAFM System BigChange is highly desirable but not mandatory to apply
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, installations, above ground waste, leak detection & repair
  • Carry out carpentry tasks such as replacing doors, changing locks, and other general carpentry work.
  • Other General Building maintenance such as: Plaster patch, painting & decorating, paving, patio and fencing works, roofing, flooring.
  • Utilise the CAFM System ‘BigChange’ to manage and document all maintenance activities, and other client based IT systems via a tablet
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and queries promptly.
  • Participate in a mandatory on-call rota to provide emergency support.
