MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER REQUIRED .

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer required to work in busy and expanding local Barnstaple based engineering company. Must be flexible to work as a general operative on the shop floor when required. Driving license essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintenance engineering background within manufacturing.
• Able to demonstrate competence in a wide range of engineering skills and disciplines including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills on wide range of plant and equipment.
• Experience in electronics would be advantage.
• Forklift Truck Licence would be advantage.
• Knowledge of PUWER and LOLER regulations
• Electrical installation with IEE 17th Edition as a minimum would be advantageous.
  Training would be provided to the successful candidate if required.
  Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 16:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 15:30pm.
  Wages are based on skillset and experience.

  Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year

• Maintain all applicable machinery within Southwest Fabrications Ltd
• Maintain the facilities for Southwest Fabrications Ltd
• Arrange inspections , M.O.T’s and repairs for the Lorry , Vans , forklift trucks and applicable vehicles
• Arrange inspections and/or certification for the applicable equipment
• To escalate any breakdowns, repairs, improvements that they are not trained and/ or certified to carry out to the production director for a solution.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Filling out all required paperwork.
• Keeping the areas, they are responsible for clean and organized.
• Complying with all company procedures and processes that affect their job role.
• Identifying and reporting health and safety issues concerning their role to their line manager.
• To comply with any reasonable request by a Director or Manager.
