ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with an electrical bias looking to join a dedicated Estates & Facilities team? The Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to support the Caludon Centre in delivering safe, high-quality environments for patient care.
In this vital role, you will carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across Trust buildings, focusing on electrical systems but also supporting general estates and fabric maintenance where needed. You’ll play a key part in ensuring critical services such as lighting, power, air handling units, heating pumps, and lifts are maintained efficiently and safely.
This is a varied and hands-on role requiring a flexible, proactive and customer-focused individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. You will also participate in the on-call rota to assist with emergency situations such as fire alarm responses, heating failures, or urgent repairs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding across a wide range of building systems
  • Support general maintenance works including carpentry, plastering, painting and minor plumbing
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Assist in building surveys, equipment assessments, and health & safety inspections
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work undertaken
  • Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency issues such as blocked drains or gritting during icy weather
  • Supervise apprentices, contractors, and provide on-the-job training when required
