We are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Production Operative to join our team based in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
  • Understands that H&S of yourself and others is fundamental.

Responsibilities
  • Safely delivering a quality product, on time, to plan, in the correct packaging and in the correct volume.
  • Safely undertake tasks and operate machinery to the required standards, in line with training received, whilst adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately and consistently record your movements on and off site using the time management system and the fire registers.
  • Wearing task specific PPE as required in accordance with the local PPE matrix’ and adhere to any issued uniform guidelines.
  • Assisting with line changeovers and setting up of line processes.
  • Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses in an accurate and timely manner, in line with the company Accident, Incident and Near Miss (AIM) reporting process.
  • Reporting all instances of cross contamination and non-conformance in an accurate and timely manner to the Cell Leader and assist in undertaking any corrective and preventative measures to rectify the issue.
  • Maintaining machinery to the required standards and report any breakdowns, potential breakdowns, defects or concerns in an accurate and timely manner to the Cell Leader.
  • Packing all products in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed to the required standards and is in line with required auditable standards.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards by ensuring the area of work is kept clean, tidy and fit for purpose.
  • Undertaking any training required by the role, taking place either on or off site.
  • Undertaking any other tasks, duties and accountabilities which are reasonably appropriate the role.
