Description
Ventia is managing the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) project in Victoria, which is a 20-year contract that includes asset management, rehabilitation, and maintenance services for over 260 kilometres of urban road network in Melbourne's west. Ventia are seeking a Multi skilled Crew Worker / Traffic Controller / Labourer to join the team based out of Laverton, Victoria. The shifts available are: Day shift - Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4.00pm Night shift - Monday to Thursday 7.00pm to 5.00am This role will be responsible to: Control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat Asphalting, sign repairs, concreting, vegetation Maintenance, pit repairs, emergency callouts, pavement cleaning, yard clean up Implement traffic management plans Liaise with the client on arrival at site to ensure the requirements needed are as per the traffic management plan. Document any required site alterations to the Traffic Management Plan. Document any aftercare signage and or equipment required to be left on site at completion of the job on the traffic management plan. Ensure all equipment is reloaded onto the vehicle as per procedure and is positioned in a tidy and safe manner.
