Here at Country Style Foods we are currently looking for a qualified Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast paced FMCG manufacturing environment. With full Right to Work status.

We are a modern craft bakery and work closely with leading retailers and food service customers, specialising in high volume production of top-quality bakery products. Our site in Grimsby can have around 300 colleagues at any one time, operating 24/7.

REQUIREMENTS

Our Multi Skilled Engineers are an integral part of our team, so we are looking for someone who has proven experience as an Engineer, with a minimum ONC qualification or equivalent. Other skills that are required are:

  • Ability to work well under pressure, making quick and accurate troubleshooting diagnosis and decisions with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Possess strong electrical and mechanical fault finding abilities
  • Experience in attending to breakdowns in fast paces manufacturing (FMCG) environments
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Be confident in fault finding PLC systems

Responsibilities
  • To optimize planned maintenance activities, comply statutory responsibilities, plant histories, delay analyses and using knowledge of process, data and plant.
  • To clearly implement and demonstrate the required approach to process safety requirements in the area responsibility – this to include food safety and hygiene processes.
  • Carrying out maintenance activities in the area.
  • Identify and create action plans for the automation of the plant in key area.
  • Reduce cost to the business by actively challenging all external costs.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
  • Ensure that product is manufactured to the required quality and legality standards as set out by the company as well as maintaining an awareness of basic food hygiene.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • At all time to be aware and observant of Health & Safety Regulations.
  • To ensure safety standards are maintained and safe working procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
