We are currently looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Warehouse Operative to work a full time, permanent contract within the Ambient & Freezer warehouse at Natures Menu. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable and well-rounded candidate, that has had experience in working in small teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with picking and packing experience who can work to deadlines and targets.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
· To have a “safety first” approach to your work by adhering to all Natures Menu company policies and procedures and help contribute towards a safe working environment.
· To be able to work as part of a team or independently using your own initiative to achieve daily output targets and workload.
· Strong IT skills.
· Strong level of numeracy and literacy skills.
· Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
· Must have a flexible approach to daily taskings and hours.
· Own transport due to the location of the business site.
· This role involves regular manual handling of up to 15kg and maneuvering pallets weighing 600kg using manual handling equipment onsite.
· To have positive work ethic and ability maintain a solid work attendance.
Desirable
· Previous experience using a warehouse inventory management system (SAP) or similar.
· Previous experience working in the food manufacturing industry.
· Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
· Valid Reach truck forklift licence
· Valid Ride on pallet truck licence
· A good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
Working hours – Sunday to Thursday 06:00-16:00hrs.

· Customer order picking.
1. To pick, build and prepare for transport customers bulk palletised orders using electronic scanners or manual paperwork. To ensure all pallet builds are built to specific customer specifications and customer delivery dates.
2. To pick to a daily target of online D2C orders using scanners and pack into corresponding box sizes for next day delivery varying from weights of 1kg to 60kg.
· Loading and unloading of vehicles.
1. To perform the unloading of inventory from delivery vehicles from external partners and suppliers.
2. To perform the loading of customer orders onto 3PL vehicles, customer collection vehicles or Natures Menu fleet vehicles.
· To assist with maintaining an accurate inventory by:
1. Assisting with counting and confirming of stock during routine stock takes.
2. Communicating stock discrepancies to the warehouse management team.
3. Scanning completed pallets from production onto the warehouse inventory using SAP inventory control software.
4. Recording all breakages with products held on inventory.
