• Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, machinery, and building components.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks—lubrication, calibration, cleaning filters, replacing parts, etc.—to reduce downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as leaks, power outages, or mechanical failures, providing timely diagnosis and repair.
• Repair or replace components—valves, switches, wiring, fixtures, motors—and perform minor structural fixes (e.g., doors, drywall).
• Maintain and manage inventories of tools, replacement parts, and supplies; notify supervisors when stock is low.
• Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders as per facility protocols or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Comply with safety regulations—ensure fire systems, exit signs, and alarms are functioning, follow NFPA or OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs (e.g., gas line, major electrical rewiring).
• Support facility improvements and installations, as directed by the maintenance supervisor or facility manager.
