Position Title: Maintenance Handyman
Reports To: Manager

Full-time or Part-time
Employment Status: Self Employed
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (some nights & weekends required)
General Summary. We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Handyman to join our team! The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, detail-oriented, organized and excel at multi-tasking. Must have general carpentry knowledge/skills, such as: hanging doors, cut holes and hinges on doors, trim, crown molding, deck and framing skills. Dependability and good manners are a must. Must be able to lift up to 20kg. The candidate will be required to have their own vehicle to complete various tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills
• 3-5 years’ work experience (preferred)
• Must have basic understanding of how things work (facility-related)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks
• Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
• Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Possess reliable transportation to and from job sites ( use their own vehicle )
• Possess appropriate tools to complete each task
• Manage their own work and time efficiently
