Job Summary We are seeking a Multicraft Technician with active California-issued Electrician and HVAC Technician licenses. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and systems in GMP-regulated environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multiple disciplines and capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks while adhering to California safety, labor, and environmental standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems within regulated (GMP) areas. Troubleshoot systems using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools and methods. Work with building automation systems (BAS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) as needed. Accurately document maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ensure all work is performed in compliance with GMP, OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations. Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety and technical training. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Active California Electrician Certification (General or Residential per DIR guidelines). Active California HVAC Technician License or C-20 Contractor License. High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a recognized technical program or vocational training in HVAC, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance. Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility or equipment maintenance role in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred). EPA Universal Certification (Section 608). Demonstrated proficiency in electrical and HVAC disciplines and mechanical systems. Prior experience in a GMP-compliant facility is highly preferred. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and document activities with accuracy. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Regularly use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and system controls. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. May work in confined spaces, at heights (using ladders/lifts), and around wet, humid, or odorous environments. Potential exposure to electrical hazards, mechanical equipment, and moderate to loud noise levels. Must adhere to all Cal/OSHA safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
