POSITION OVERVIEW

The Multifamily Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of senior living facilities. This role involves managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction and a passion for enhancing the living experience for seniors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably in multifamily or senior living projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and training to on-site staff and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for upper management review.
  • Address any issues or delays proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
