PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Multimedia & Communications Manager is responsible for setting up, customizing, and maintaining console windows across various platforms. The Multimedia & Communications Manager oversees the planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of all audio-visual systems within the organization. This role ensures high-quality support for meetings, conferences, events, and daily AV needs.
The Multimedia & Communications Manager is responsible for the configuration, administration, and support of the K4Connect platform across the White Horse Village community. This role ensures optimal platform performance, successful integrations with smart devices and systems, and a high-quality user experience for residents and staff. Multimedia & Communications Manager serves as the primary liaison between the organization and K4Connect, coordinating training, updates, and technical issue resolution.
The Multimedia & Communications Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the integration of high-speed fiber optic infrastructure to support reliable Wi-Fi, SMART technology, cable streaming services, and phone connectivity across the organization. The Multimedia & Communications Manager ensures seamless connectivity and future-ready infrastructure to meet evolving technology demands within the community.
AUDIO VISUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage daily AV operations, including setup, troubleshooting, and teardown for events and meetings.
Oversee AV inventory, maintenance, and procurement of new equipment.
Collaborate with Property & Facilities, Resident Life teams to ensure AV needs are met.
Coordinate AV support for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
Maintain schedules and documentation for AV services, repairs, and usage.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Stay current with AV technologies and trends, recommending upgrades as needed.
Develop and manage AV-related budgets.
K4 RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a subject matter expert on K4Community Platform.
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the K4Community platform.
Manage user access, roles, and permissions for staff and residents.
Configure and support smart home integrations (e.g., thermostats, lighting, voice assistants, etc.).
Coordinate and implement software updates, patches, and new features.
Provide training and onboarding to staff and residents on the use of the platform.
Monitor system performance and generate regular reports on usage, issues, and outcomes.
Collaborate with departments such as resident life, maintenance, nursing, and IT to ensure cross-functional needs are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating as needed.
Collect feedback from users and suggest improvements to enhance platform utilization.
Ensure data privacy and security protocols are maintained in line with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
CWC Responsibilities:
Ensure high-performance, community-wide Wi-Fi coverage and uptime.
Support integration of SMART building technologies.
Oversee cable TV streaming services and phone systems, ensuring reliable access and quality.
Monitor system performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
Maintain documentation on network infrastructure, service contracts, and configuration changes.
Assess current and future connectivity needs and propose upgrades or new solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, AV Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
2–4 years of experience in platform or systems management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
Familiarity with smart home technology, IoT platforms, and resident engagement tools.
Experience with K4Connect or similar platforms preferred.
3–5 years of experience in AV coordination or management.
Proven experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.).
Hands-on experience with projectors, sound systems, video walls, microphones, mixers, and control systems.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
