Full job description

We’re Principals, an independent branding agency of around 70 people with studios in Sydney and Melbourne.

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer who can design and produce visual and audio information for communication and display across digital channels. You’ll translate complex ideas into clear, engaging multimedia content by combining typography, illustration, imagery, animation, video and sound. The work includes motion systems, interactive digital experiences, prototypes, digital campaigns, web content and signage.

You’ll:

• Consult with clients and our strategy, account and creative teams to determine the objectives, audience, scope and technical requirements of each design brief
• Research communication requirements and develop concepts, sketches, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes, presenting and refining design solutions with clients and internal teams
• Select and combine text, typography, illustration, imagery, animation, video and sound, and build motion systems and reusable templates that extend brand identities into digital environments

You’ll bring:

• A Bachelor degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Animation or a related field
• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a brand, design or advertising agency
• Good skills in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Figma
• A portfolio demonstrating multimedia work across static, animated, video and interactive digital formats
