POSITION SPECIFICS

Penn State Global is seeking a Multimedia Marketing Specialist to join its marketing and communications team. This role includes photography and videography of both small-and large-scale office and University events; the creation of impactful video content to be used in the marketing of programs ; some written storytelling, such as interviews and feature stories; and possibly exploring new mediums, such as audio storytelling, in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

The preferred candidate will have specialized experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Photography and photo editing, including relevant software
  • Videography and video editing, including relevant software
  • Creative writing and storyboarding , including AP style

This position is filled at the Intermediate Professional level.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Associate Degree 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

Responsibilities

Video production in support of Penn State’s international programs , including:

  • Storyboarding
  • Scheduling and executing relevant interviews and shoots
  • Editing videos together to create a cohesive productUsing a variety of visual, audio, graphic, and other resources in production process

  • Setup
  • Taking photos
  • Headshots, if needed
  • Editing photosManagement of photo library

  • Feature stories
  • Press releases
  • Editing and posting stories to Penn State News
