MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST/VIDEO DEVELOPER

Reed Integration, Inc., an innovative small business offering technical, management, and training solutions, has an immediate need for an experienced, full-time Multimedia Specialist/Video Developer to support commercial and federal government clients. The successful candidate will design, develop, and produce high-quality video and multimedia training aids—leveraging both traditional and AI-enhanced production methods—to support complex training development initiatives. Deliverables will align with Section 508 accessibility requirements, DoD Instruction 1322.26 distributed learning standards, and applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs) for training development and delivery.
Candidates must be a US citizen. Employment is contingent upon ability to successfully pass a detailed background check.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience producing video and multimedia content for government or industry training initiatives; experience in an agile development cycle strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D Studio Max, and Avid Media Composer.
  • Knowledge of video codecs, compression standards, and media optimization for web-based delivery.
  • Strong graphic design and multimedia editing abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple concurrent projects; demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
  • Multimedia Development: Create high-quality multimedia elements—including video, audio, animations, and graphics—for integration into eLearning courses and blended learning solutions.
  • AI-Enhanced Production: Apply AI-driven video and multimedia tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and instructional effectiveness while maintaining compliance with accessibility and quality standards.
  • Instructional Alignment: Develop multimedia assets that directly support learning objectives and enhance learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance outcomes.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Produce all multimedia deliverables in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, including captioning, transcripts, audio descriptions, and accessible player functionality.
  • Media Integration: Combine text, illustrations, motion graphics, and live or recorded video into cohesive, instructionally sound learning products.
  • Evaluation & Optimization: Assess the effectiveness of video and multimedia elements during pilot testing and user evaluations; recommend and implement improvements based on feedback and data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to ensure multimedia elements align with instructional system design requirements and Air Force distributed learning standards.
