The purpose of this role is to coordinate multinational programmes throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with underwriting teams and Global Network offices to ensure effective policy administration, claims handling, risk engineering, and cash flow management.

MULTINATIONAL SERVICE EXPERT

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Multinational Service Expert to join our dynamic team in Dusseldorf. In this pivotal role, you will be the single point of contact for our top tier clients in Germany, managing their complex multinational programs and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders. You will be part of an international team based in the UK and Spain, focusing on the local market in Germany. Your ability to navigate local market nuances, combined with an international perspective, will be essential for delivering exceptional service and driving program success.

Your new role

  • Work closely with Producing Office Underwriters to support complex Multinational programmes.
  • Attend client and broker pitches to promote as well as provide insight and guidance on QBE’s Multinational servicing capabilities.
  • Communicate with global underwriters, local offices, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support with preparing and communicating new and renewal information, handle mid-term changes.
  • Support with producing Proposal Assessments for Underwriters on local servicing costs and pricing.
  • Issue accurate instructions for Servicing Offices and track local policy issuance.
  • Manage local payments, central collections, and overall cash position.
  • Use appropriate systems to service programmes and maintain data quality.
  • Attend market events as appropriate to promote QBEs Multinational Proposition.

About you

  • At Preferred experience in multinational program servicing within the insurance sector, ideally with at least 3-5 years
  • A tertiary degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or Risk Management is preferred. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with international teams and clients.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to improve program performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with global stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal and external partners effectively.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry software and systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
