In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to gather evidence, design, iterate, and continuously enhance the user experience. Your responsibilities will include integrating business goals with user needs to produce deliverables such as user stories, personas, user journeys, wireframes, designs, and interactive prototypes. You will also be responsible for developing user research plans, selecting appropriate research methods, and managing participant recruitment to support digital project objectives. Reporting findings, contributing to roadmap prioritisation, and presenting insights and concepts to business areas will also be key aspects of your work. As a researcher, you will tackle complex problems and communicate insights using a range of user research and co-design methods to evaluate digital products and services. As an interaction designer, you will employ various methods to co-design solutions for intricate issues and create intuitive, user-friendly prototypes and proof of concepts for digital products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the research, discovery, and alpha phases of the product lifecycle, a strong understanding of inclusive and accessible design, user behaviour, heuristics, and website analytics, as well as the ability to conduct regular usability testing and validate designs and prototypes. A solid grasp of design principles and systems, along with the implementation of WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines, is essential.
