Multiple Site Security Officer – Full Time – Denver Metro Area, CO Former Military / Law Enforcement Encouraged To Apply!! Wage: $19.29/HR - ($21.83/HR After 6 Months & $22.30/HR After 1 Year) Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. You will become certified in CPR-AED, Trauma care, X-ray imaging in threat detections, De-escalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few. These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure. While prior security experience is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates. Description: This position will be a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with two consecutive days off. This position will give you the opportunity to learn and train at multiple locations within an area. Benefits include Kaiser medical plan, both PTO and sick time as well as a free Eco pass. Applicants must have availability from 7am-11pm, schedules will be provided a week in advance. What Your Day May Look Like: Conflict resolution and de-escalation. Secure entrances / exits. Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Work directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community. Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. Security screen all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. Monitor surveillance cameras. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. Responsibilities
The Multiple Site Security Officer will patrol assigned sites, secure entrances and exits, and monitor surveillance cameras. They will also write detailed incident reports and work directly with law enforcement and the community.
