The Multiskilled Technician is a nursing support role. Tasks may include an assignment as unit secretary which serves as part of the healthcare team will assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of the activities occurring at the nursing stations by performing clerical duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area. Additional assignment may include ED Technician. The ED tech will assist in ED flow and patient care under direction of the ED physician or nurse. Some of the skills performed may include: · Obtaining EKGs · Obtain vital signs · Transport of patients · Collection and transportation of lab specimens (with competency) Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience/Skills Requirements EDUCATION: High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Basic Life Support (preferred) MOAB or equivalent (preferred) About Us Lake Guntersville, a mountain-lakes jewel, is located approximately 30 miles from metro Huntsville – and is home to Marshall Medical Centers. Responsibilities
