Position Summary: This position is responsible for inspecting and cutting specific quantities of product from racks and placing the product on meat conveyors or directly into formed pockets of film on the packaging machines or in tanks. Responsibilities Sort ends and pieces, #2 product, and all rework or downgraded product. When running the 11-pound line, perform blow-up leaker and O2 checks. Move ham patties logs up to 30 pounds. Trim tar from product. Set up and tear down all support equipment. Check leaker packages. Set up and fully operate all equipment for slicing and dicing. Package all sliced and diced products and other requested product. Set up and change stock on labeling equipment. Process and stack random cuts. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions. Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 30 pounds frequently. The Team Member will use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. The Team Member will perform strenuous flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently. The Team Member will stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours. The Team Member will distinguish basic shades and colors. The Team Member will work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
