ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in transport, logistics or the waste industry would be preferred.

Responsibilities

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high performing Contracts Manager to join us and manage our Municipal Fleet and Refuse Transfer Stations in the Coromandel. We will consider applicants based anywhere in the Coromandel Region.
The role works alongside the established management and leadership team in the branch, in a region which has been set up to provide a strong regional support network.
The position responsibilities cover the full operational and financial management of a group of sites and employees including leading a strong safety culture, managing employees, vehicle and site maintenance and compliance requirements, meeting financial targets and budgets and interacting with a large municipal partner and at times, a large commercial customer base.
The person we are looking for must have a high health and safety performance record, a customer service focus, and operational excellence background to provide and maintain a safe and efficient workplace for our team and customers. Ideally you will have had exposure to working in a fast changing, multifaceted workplace where your strong organisational skills have been tried and tested. A company vehicle will be provided for the role, considering the travel requirements across the region.
