Municipal Road and Infrastructure Project Manager
Mission
Come grow with us at CIMA+ Mississauga. We are looking for a future leader to join our growing team and help us deliver municipal road and infrastructure projects to our established client base.

Responsibilities

  • Manage road and underground infrastructure projects for various municipal clients throughout Ontario
  • Manage the project contracts and lead the design of urban and rural construction & reconstruction projects, including: road & highways, watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, etc.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals and technical reports
  • Liaise with government and regulatory authorities to guide projects through the approvals processes
  • Review engineering documents and design prior to submitting to clients
  • Manage the budget and ensure that there is an adequate amount of staff on-hand to properly execute projects
  • Assure that client requirements are met as per contractual agreements
  • Coordinate and maintain existing business relationships and build new ones
  • Mentor and develop junior staff

Profile

  • A university degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years progressive civil engineering experience in delivering planning and design services for municipal road and underground infrastructure projects in Ontario
  • A university degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • Eng. membership in Ontario
  • Experience in proposal and report writing
  • Ability to estimate fees, manage budgets and ensure schedules are met in the delivery of projects
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing several assignments at once to deliver on time.
  • Able to work independently and show initiative with minimal supervision while leading a team of design professional
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English.
