Municipal Road and Infrastructure Project Manager
Mission
Come grow with us at CIMA+ Mississauga. We are looking for a future leader to join our growing team and help us deliver municipal road and infrastructure projects to our established client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage road and underground infrastructure projects for various municipal clients throughout Ontario
- Manage the project contracts and lead the design of urban and rural construction & reconstruction projects, including: road & highways, watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, etc.
- Lead the preparation of proposals and technical reports
- Liaise with government and regulatory authorities to guide projects through the approvals processes
- Review engineering documents and design prior to submitting to clients
- Manage the budget and ensure that there is an adequate amount of staff on-hand to properly execute projects
- Assure that client requirements are met as per contractual agreements
- Coordinate and maintain existing business relationships and build new ones
- Mentor and develop junior staff
Profile
- A university degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years progressive civil engineering experience in delivering planning and design services for municipal road and underground infrastructure projects in Ontario
- A university degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- Eng. membership in Ontario
- Experience in proposal and report writing
- Ability to estimate fees, manage budgets and ensure schedules are met in the delivery of projects
- Capable of managing and prioritizing several assignments at once to deliver on time.
- Able to work independently and show initiative with minimal supervision while leading a team of design professional
- Strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English.
