About The Job
With this role we will assign a full-time business development person to drive the municipal waste business in alignment with the Water & Waste Global Sales teams as well as with the sales companies. Your key tasks will be:
- Drive and establish municipal waste as a key growth area for Alfa Laval
- Proactively network and establish Alfa Laval as the trusted advisor for municipal waste management
- Identify and position Alfa Laval with consultants, key accounts, engineering companies, contractors, and end users.
- Set activity-based business plans together with selected sales companies.
- Build networks internally and externally and represent Alfa Laval in municipal waste forums.
- Visit customers to present and support the sales of municipal waste solutions.
- Define offering and develop partnerships.
- Enable Service offerings as in integral part of the municipal waste portfolio.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives for water and waste
The position is in Søborg, Copenhagen, reporting to Global Sales Manager Water & Waste Travel is expected to be approximately 60-70 days a year.
What You Know
- Bachelor of Master of Science (MSc) degree in a relevant field or showcase equivalent hands-on experience within the industry.
- Strong use of digital sales tools.
- Decanter Know-How: Demonstrate extensive expertise and proficiency in decanter operations, maintenance, and optimization. Experience with various decanter types and a deep understanding of their applications is essential.
- Wastewater Know-How: Extensive knowledge and practical experience in wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulations. Strong proficiency in wastewater analysis, treatment methodologies, and environmental compliance.
- Business Development: Proven track record in driving business growth, identifying opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships. Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies to enhance market presence and profitability.
