JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic individual to participate in our team as Museum Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to effectively communicate with a Board of Directors.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a managerial role or similar capacity is beneficial.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward success.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings would be an asset.
- Customer service in the tourism industry will be an asset.
- Interest in early Canadian history will help you carry out duties.
- Participating in public events may be required.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Strong organizational skills, be able to work with independently and with other team members.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff.
- Prepare reports for Directors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with the Board to ensure alignment of goals and initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
