Music, Arts & Traditional Music Administrator The Music, Arts & Traditional Music Administrator will support and serve as the main administrator to the Music Department & Sanctuary Worship. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will serve as primary contact to the congregation, choirs, and staff to offer administrative support.  Reports To: Director of Music, Arts & Traditional Worship Ministerial Exemption: No FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Campus: Mockingbird Working Hours: Part-time: anticipated 20 hours per week  Anticipated Schedule:  * Monday 12 pm – 3 pm * Tuesday 9 am – 12 pm  * Wednesday 12 pm – 8 pm & Choir assistance, as needed (must clock out for a 30 minute lunch break during this shift) * Thursday 9 am – 12 pm * Fridays 9 am – 12 pm  During certain times of the year, additional hours may be necessary to meet the demands of the job. All church staff will be asked to support and serve for religious holidays and worship services including Christmas Eve and Easter.  Job Responsibilities and Duties:  * Main interaction and contact for Music Ministry, including phone calls and email responses to questions and concerns  * Support to Children & Youth Music Directors, Organist, Staff Accompanist, Music & Worship Coordinator  * Assists with rehearsal preparation for Chancel Choir rehearsals/Concerts/Special Events as needed  * Oversees and manages database for department and volunteers  * Oversees venue reservations via eSPACE: venues as needed including, but not limited to weekly rehearsals, Sunday morning Sanctuary Worship, concerts, choir holiday parties, etc.  * Writes thank you notes for donations  * Writes notes to the families of memorials  * Prepare weekly choir notes for chancel choir rehearsals  * Prepare and maintain up to date choir rosters and sign-ups for services  * Audit Ministry Safe/Background checks as needed  * Oversees the volunteer music librarians in the cataloging and numbering of music library * Responsible for organization and upkeep of music library  * Music Licensing reporting * Other duties as assigned  Education and Desired Skills:  * Experience in Music  * Experience with administration  * Organizational skills  Preferred Software Experience:  * Microsoft Office Suite  * G Suite (Google, Gmail, Calendar, etc...)  * Touchpoint * Other  Physical Demands:  ☒ Sitting ☒ Standing ☒ Walking ☒ Seeing ☒ Hearing ☒ Speaking ☒ Lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds ☒ Fine Motor Skills  Other Qualifications: Must be a committed Christian comfortable working in a United Methodist church environment.
