Description

Job title: Music Director Location: Luke AFB, AZ Travel: N/A Duties: The applicant shall work closely with other choir directors and musicians, and pastoral team to continually upgrade the music library and repertoires used in the service. The applicant shall coordinate all support requirements with the Contract Officer, Chaplain, or a designated representative. The applicant must play their instrument of choice regularly on Sundays. The applicant shall assist the Chaplain in coordinating music by special groups and choirs. Education & Qualifications: The applicant must have the ability to read music and demonstrated accompaniment ability with the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar. The applicant must have Contemporary & Gospel choir experience and be familiar with the flow of Contemporary & Gospel worship styles. The applicant must possess a letter of recommendation from an ordained clergy person The applicant shall have at least five years of experience playing the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
