QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:- 5 years of experience in an operational or supply chain role at a content or music distribution company- Familiarity with third-party content management systems and programs including iTunes Connect, Spotify For Artists, and YouTube CMS- Strong proficiency in Excel- Strong problem-solving ability and technical understanding- Excellent written and communication skills with clients and colleaguesPreferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with DDEX, XML, and other metadata standards preferred

SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and “do music” their way.Responsibilities:- Spearhead distribution operations strategy, work with product and music teams to set up, monitor, and administrate timed music releases for artists and labels.- Oversee the catalog onboarding process with new clients for efficient content and metadata ingestion between clients and off-platform partners- Moderate and enforce on and off-platform operational standards to ensure the successful delivery of client releases- Help troubleshoot and proactively identify any issues involved in the distribution process between clients and distribution partners, ensuring all assets are delivered correctly and deadlines are met for clients and vendors- Communicate and respond to inbound requests from clients, digital service platforms and distribution partners- Assess and refine internal workflows and best practices to improve the client and distribution experience. Work with product and tech teams on AI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
