Description

Rockstar Music is seeking a dynamic and skilled Music Lesson Coordinator to join our team of university educated musicians, teachers, and recording industry professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and help oversee the daily operations of our music school, including selling music lessons to new students, providing exceptional customer service to current students, coordinating and scheduling lessons, assisting with social media and events, and addressing administrative issues.
As a Music Lesson Coordinator, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the growth and success of Rockstar Music by actively promoting our music lessons and building relationships with clients. You will also have the opportunity to work with a supportive, fun, and creative community and enjoy a high degree of autonomy in your role.

IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • An articulate, enthusiastic and warm personality.
  • Enjoy working with kids, parents, and creative adults, and watching them grow!
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales or management preferred
  • An ability to sell themselves as well as our offerings. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position.
  • A warm, enthusiastic phone demeanor. As we communicate with our students often by phone, we’re looking for that GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you that your voice should be on the radio, we’re looking for you!
  • Strong memory
  • Ability to work alone

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, keeping up with lots of details
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High email volume which requires a typing speed of 70 wpm or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting current students and teachers both over the phone, and by email & text with scheduling changes
  • Follow administrative systems and processes
  • Communicating and with music teachers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of about how our music lessons work
