Hobgoblin Music in Canterbury, Kent opened in October 2010. The shop moved into a premises previously occupied by Musicland - the keyboard and rock’n’roll superstore. The shop is unusual for a Hobgoblin shop in that it continues to stock keyboards, drums and electric guitars, with expert salespeople on hand to advise on these instruments. In addition, Hobgoblin’s huge range of celtic and traditional instruments makes this shop one of the most all-inclusive in the UK.

JOB SUMMARY

Hobgoblin Music are looking for a Musician and enthusiastic person to join the Canterbury shop team. Our Canterbury shop caters to musicians from the folk and acoustic world, brass and woodwind players, electric guitarists and bass players and we even stock new and second hand full drum kits! The ideal candidate will have a very good knowledge of Folk musical instruments and be willing to learn about many new ones!. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. This position requires a friendly disposition, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

• Proficient in English

• Ability to play at least one of these instruments: Violin, Accordion, Melodeon, Mandolin, Banjo.
• Happy to deal with beginners to experts alike

  Experience:
