JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in music education. Hours are flexible within our school day. Position to begin in October.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience teaching music lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and the ability to work well with children of all ages (3 yrs -9 yrs)
• Knowledge of music theory and piano techniques
  -current vulnerable sector police check
• Nice-to-have skills: Early childhood education experience, tutoring experience, classroom teaching experience.
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: $20.72-$30.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 6 – 9 per week

• teaching: 5 years (preferred)

• Instruct students on how to play an instrument such as ukulele or piano individually (capped amount depending on timing)
• Develop personalized lesson plans based on students’ skill levels and goals
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their musical skills
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
