Role: Teacher of Music (Temporary Maternity Cover) Academy: Outwood Academy Valley  Start Date: 01/11/2026 Salary (Actual Salary): £32,916 to £51,048 Working Pattern: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only  Please note that this post is temporary for the period 01st November 2026 to provisionally, 23rd July 2027 or the return date of the substantive post-holder, if this is earlier. We aim to appoint a music specialist with the skills and passion to be an active member in this popular area of the curriculum, someone who is an outstanding classroom teacher and has high standards both in terms of behaviour and quality of work and will maintain the success and stability of our valued department.  The academy is incredibly proud of the quality of its school productions and performing arts. The success of the yearly productions are well received within the local community and the regular music concerts have showcased some amazing talent.
