JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music (ideally Music education) and a genuine love for teaching. This role involves instructing students in various aspects of music, fostering their creativity, and helping them develop their musical skills. The Music Teacher(s) will work with children of different ages and skill levels, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring music, preferably in a classroom setting is a bonus.
• Strong background in music education with proficiency in one or more instruments.
• Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire students’ love for music.
• Artistic skills are a plus, as they may be incorporated into creative classroom activities.
• A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate. Join us in inspiring the next generation of musicians!

  Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

• Provide individual and private lessons to enhance student understanding and performance.

• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational programs.
• Maintain classroom discipline while fostering a nurturing environment for learning.
