Location: Manchester M23

Contract: Full-time until December 2025 (with potential to extend)
Pay: £150 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Manchester (M23). This is a full-time position starting immediately and running until December 2025, with the possibility of extension into the new year.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applicants without QTS will not be considered
• A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Experience in teaching secondary music (preferred)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for music education

• Teach engaging and high-quality music lessons to secondary students
• Support extracurricular music activities including ensembles and performances
• Work collaboratively with the performing arts department
• Contribute to planning, assessment, and student progress reporting
