JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher (Piano, Guitar, Singing) to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves providing individual lessons, developing customised lesson plans, and fostering a love for music in each student.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a piano teacher or in a similar educational role is preferred.
• Minimum Grade 8 in Piano/Guitar/Singing.
• Strong proficiency in playing the piano with knowledge of various musical genres.
• Familiarity with music theory and the ability to teach it effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music are essential qualities for this role.

• Conduct one-on-one and small group piano lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various musical styles and techniques.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as required.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.
• Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
• Stay updated on teaching methods and music trends to continually improve instructional techniques.
