Description Christian Academy of Knoxville is seeking a passionate and experienced High School Musical Theatre Choreographer. The ideal candidate will choreograph dance numbers, teach choreography to students, and collaborate with the director and artistic team to bring the vision of our musical theatre productions to life. Responsibilities include attending auditions, rehearsals, and production meetings while ensuring a positive and safe learning environment for students. Requirements Choreograph dance numbers in collaboration with the director and artistic team. Teach choreography to students in a patient and helpful manner. Attend auditions, rehearsals, and production meetings as needed. Ensure a positive and safe learning environment for students. Collaborate with the Director to schedule dance rehearsals. Support the production as required in consultation with the Director. The Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) teacher must be a spiritually sensitive individual who understands the mission and philosophy of the school. The teacher must be a born-again Christian with spiritual maturity and the academic and leadership abilities necessary to teach God’s truth. Skills in effective communication with diverse individuals, appropriate handling of confidential information, and maintaining a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude, along with integrity in all situations, are prerequisites.
