THE JOB: The Mustangs & Burros Bus Person/Food Runner works closely with the kitchen to expedite and serve all food to guests. Makes sure dishes move from the kitchen to dining room in a coordinated, smooth and timely manner and are appropriately portioned and garnished. Ensures all orders leaving the kitchen meet presentation standards and meet guest requests. Must have excellent customer service/communication skills to work with guests and providing a high level of guest satisfaction. Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required by operational needs Possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Maintains extensive knowledge of all menu and bar items. Requires ability to learn and use telephone and POS computer systems used at the hotel.
