Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, or a related field
  • Master degree or/and MBA will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the data center industry, preferably in roles related to power systems, energy infrastructure, or critical facility operations
  • Experience with gas motors (recip) or turbines
  • Technical sales, business development, or consulting experience within the energy or data center sector
  • Ability to translate technical features into customer-centric value propositions
  • Strong understanding of power generation systems, data center energy requirements (redundancy, uptime, etc.), grid interaction, CHPs and hybrid energy systems
  • 25%-50% travel availability (international)
  • Business fluent English language (C1 or above)
  • Experience with gas motors (recip) or turbines
  • This role can be located in Schwaz / Austria, Prague and Brno / Czech Republic, Madrid / Spain, Paris / France, Mannheim / Germany, or Rotterdam / Netherland. Other locations can be eventually taken into consideration.

Responsibilities

ROLE DEFINITION

MWM Sales Consultant for Data Centers is a subject matter expert who bridges the gap between MWM’s gas genset solutions and the unique needs of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center operators. His main task is to work closely with MWM Sales to create value propositions specific to Data Centers. Leader in this role will serve as center of gravity for entire Data Centers segment globally within MWM, making sure that MWM offering align with requirements of Data Centers segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow market trends in Data Centers customer segment
  • Create custom made offering / value proposition for utilization of MWM Gas Genset in Data Centers
  • Work closely with Sales organization on opportunity specific strategies for Data Centers
  • Interact with product management and engineering team to ensure alignment between Data Centers requirements and MWM product strategy
  • Support Sales and Plant engineering Team with Data Center specific needs and requirement related to gas genset, BOP and enclosures
  • Participate on selected fares and conventions to support MWM sales with customer interactions
