Description Help families access the care they need—right from their phones. As a MyChart Activation Specialist at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, you’ll be the friendly face that helps parents and caregivers connect to their child’s health information quickly, securely, and confidently. You’ll guide families through the process of downloading and using the MyChart patient portal, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. What You’ll Do Greet and approach patient families in waiting areas or clinic spaces Assist with MyChart account sign-up and secure access verification Help families download and navigate the MyChart app Answer questions and troubleshoot basic technical issues Follow HIPAA guidelines and Children’s Health IT policies Work independently while maintaining professionalism at all times Requirements What We're Looking For Compassion and Kindness Strong communication skills and attention to detail Customer service experience (healthcare background preferred) Comfort using smartphones, apps, and Microsoft Office tools What To Expect Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required to assist both English- and Spanish-speaking families Standing and walking for most of your shift Part-Time schedule with flexibility to work nights and weekends Start date will follow successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and proof of required hospital vaccinations. Standard hospital onboarding and training can take up to 3–4 weeks.
