This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 900000 (ie INR 8-9 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time The MYP Swimming Coach will instruct students in swimming techniques, water safety, and competitive skills while adhering to the IB’s holistic and inquiry-based methodology. Key Responsibilities: • Lead swimming sessions for MYP students ranging from beginners to advanced levels • Teach various strokes, techniques, endurance training, and water safety practices • Prepare students for competitions and school-related swim events • Enforce safety protocols and maintain discipline within the pool area at all times • Track student progress and provide personalized feedback • Ensure proper maintenance of pool equipment and uphold safety standards • Work collaboratively with the PE team and school administration Requirements: • Swimming certification and lifeguard certification (mandatory) • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Sports Science (preferred) • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in swimming coaching • In-depth knowledge of safety and rescue procedures • Effective communication and student management abilities Preferred: • Previous experience in IB/MYP educational settings • Background in competitive swimming Skills Swimming
