Job Summary Pittsburgh, PA | Mount Lebanon *Nanny/Household Manager Role* Start Date: April 6th Hours: Monday - Friday; 30–40 hours/week (nanny’s preference); typical hours fall between 9–11 am start and 4–6 pm end. Flexibility required for school breaks, sick days, and schedule shifts when Mom is on call (8-16 weeks a year). Hourly Rate: $30-35 Children: 10 & 12 year old Pets: One dog, two cats, and a fish Paid Vacation: 4 weeks of the family’s choice 2 weeks of the nanny’s choice 3 sick days and all major holidays Responsibilities and Duties WHO/WHAT: Some families are wonderful on paper. Others are wonderful in real life. This one is both. We are thrilled to be helping a truly exceptional family find their next long-term Household Manager/Nanny — and opportunities like this rarely come along. Their last nanny stayed over five years, and the caregiver before that nearly eight years. That kind of longevity speaks volumes: these parents are kind, respectful, relational employers who truly value the right caregiver as part of their family’s story. Their commitment to long-term partnership shows not just in words, but in action — including an exceptional compensation and benefits package that reflects how deeply they value the person in this role. They understand that caring for others requires being cared for, too. Both parents are physicians with demanding careers and are searching for someone extraordinary — someone who takes pride in making life smoother so that when Mom and Dad walk through the door, they can be fully present with their kids. Their household is thoughtful, warm, and full of personality — board games, sports, healthy meals, travel adventures, and lots of laughter. They value structure because their schedules demand it, and deeply appreciate someone who brings calm, consistency, and thoughtful organization to daily life. This is a true Household Manager + Nanny hybrid role, ideal for a high-level professional who enjoys both home leadership and meaningful connection with kids. 🏡 Household Management (while kids are at school) You’ll take ownership of keeping the home flowing smoothly, including: Meal planning, healthy lunch prep, and cooking dinner multiple nights per week Grocery shopping, errands, laundry (children’s required; parent laundry a bonus), and daily household reset (dishwasher, tidying, & household organization). Organizing closets, supplies, and systems; managing shared calendars and appointments Coordinating vendors, household repairs, travel prep, and restocking essentials The family strongly believes in shaping the role around strengths — if you enjoy stepping into additional household support, it will be greatly appreciated. 🚗 Childcare When the kids are home, the focus shifts from management to connection. Their daughter is kind, athletic, and creative — equally happy outdoors or writing poetry. Their son is energetic, emotionally observant, and sports-loving, with a big heart and lots of personality. You’ll help with school pickups, carpools with other children, driving to activities, homework support, helping the kids unwind after busy days, and creating a calm, positive after-school rhythm rooted in kindness and consistency. THE IDEAL NANNY IS…that rare mix of warm and capable. You’re proactive, flexible, and reliable — someone who notices what needs to happen and calmly makes it happen. You thrive in busy homes, enjoy healthy cooking and organization, and genuinely love helping children grow into confident, kind humans. You are: Energetic yet grounded Personable and emotionally intelligent Trustworthy and dependable; comfortable being someone the family truly relies on Looking for a long-term professional home — not just your next position These parents work hard and care deeply about their family. They are looking for someone who wants to walk alongside them through this next season — If you are searching for a role where your work will be noticed, appreciated, and trusted — and where you can truly settle in for the long term — we would love to meet you. Requirements and Benefits Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years. Paid Vacation If your resume is a fit for our positions, our team will be in touch with you. You will receive our nanny application and be informed of the next steps regarding our process. Once our team determines if you meet our qualifications, we'll email you our nanny application to complete. It should take you no more than fifteen minutes. Once submitted, we'll be in touch with the next steps in our application process!
