Areas of Interest (Including but not limited to): Land Surveying and Geodesy Structural Engineering and Construction Automation Coastal Protection Engineering Sustainable Infrastructure and Resilient Urban Systems Smart and Green Transportation Systems Environmental Science and Engineering Key Responsibilities Research Lead independent and/or collaborative research projects. Secure competitive external research funding. Publish in top-tier international peer-reviewed journals. Establish strong research collaborations with local and global institutions. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research activities. Teaching Design and deliver effective teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Develop innovative curriculum and assessment methods. Supervise student projects and theses. Embrace inclusive and active learning strategies. Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation. Service Participate in departmental and university-wide committees. Contribute to School’s outreach and recruitment efforts. Support academic governance and mentorship initiatives. Actively engage in the broader academic and professional community. Qualifications A PhD in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Geomatics, Urban Planning, Transportation, or a closely related field. Demonstrated excellence in research and potential for teaching excellence. Strong publication record and a clear vision for future research.
