QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of experience selling in a business to business capacity or Proven experience in an Inside Sales will be considered.
  • Previous proven abilities in large accounts.
  • Previous experience in sales, in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven National Account Executive with proven experience in a B2B sales role, supporting existing accounts & targeting net new customers. The Account Manger will be responsible for growth within existing accounts and acquiring new clients in the IT Infrastructure, Cabling, Security and/or Audio-Visual industries. Must have previous experience in acquiring net new business.
You will play a key role in growing the business. You will have the tools to drive growth within accounts by providing Physical Security, Wi-Fi, AV, Cabling Infrastructure, Microsoft Teams and Managed Services solutions. You will be expected to engage with all levels within the clients’ organizations, including IT, Facilities, and Executive Management. You will be required to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable multitasking and able to budget their resources to meet the assigned quotas for their role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieve or exceed sales targets by:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing national customers to retain current business. Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to promote consistent growth by increasing revenue and selling additional product lines of business.
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with net new customers. (Acquisition Accounts)
  • Orchestrate meetings, propose solutions, submit proposals and actively participate in the presentation of these proposals.
  • The Account Manager also acts as an intermediary between customers and internal technical and Operation teams, helping to manage IT projects by managing communication between parties and collaborating on planning.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the management team via our Sales CRM.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to build networks and generate leads.
  • Executes and expands assigned customer account plan(s) developed in conjunction with management.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with new customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
