PROFIL

We’re looking for a commercially savvy, proactive, and collaborative National Account Executive to help drive Peter’s Yard’s growth. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment, combining sales acumen with a passion for food and retail trends.

Alongside living our values, here are the most important things we’re looking for from you.

  • Education & Experience:
  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level
  • 1+ years in FMCG sales, retail, or a related field (e.g. Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain).
  • Experience as a National Account Executive (or similar) is ideal, but we welcome candidates with transferable commercial skills and looking to learn.
  • Commercial Rigour:
  • Proven ability to support the delivery of measurable business results (e.g. sales growth, margin improvement).
  • Numerate – understanding of P&L’s and margins with good attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling) to analyse trends and build persuasive commercial cases.
  • Relationship Builder:
  • Strong influencing skills to engage buyers, internal teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborative approach – you balance Peter’s Yard’s goals with customer needs.
  • Drive & Initiative:
  • A self-starter who spots opportunities and acts on them.
  • Highly organised, with excellent written/verbal communication.
  • Challenges the status quo – identifies inefficiencies, proposes new ways to drive growth, and isn’t afraid to test bold ideas.
  • Passion for Retail & Food:
  • Keen interest in market trends, competitor activity, and retail execution.
  • (Bonus) A “foodie” who loves artisan brands and premium products.
