Job Title: National Account Manager
Location: Midlands Based
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Report to: Account Director
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

As part of the Leadership Team (LT) the role of the National Account Manager will be to oversee all commercial activities of a set of designated clients ensuring Ascot Services maximises all opportunities for profit generation available to it. As an inspirational people focused leader you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Ascot Services growth strategy and be a key influencer and participant of the LT.
The role includes management of both Hard and Soft FM services. Reporting to and working alongside the FM Account Director you will manage the onsite teams with responsibility for day-to-day operations, contract performance and customer satisfaction. The role will involve extensive customer interactions working to continually evolve and improve our service in line with our customers’ expectations and Ascot commitment to ‘Continual Improvement Through Innovation.’ As the main point of contact for our people and our customers it is essential that you are a team player, reliable, consciences and committed to Ascots core values to ensure our exemplary brand standard achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Set and deliver the company plan alongside the Senior Management Team (SMT) and the SLT.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with supply partners.
  • Work effectively across peer group to optimize revenue and profit.
  • Own and drive strategic relationships with new and existing clients
  • Overall Performance Management to ensure;
  • Contractual SLAs are achieved and reported on (Internally / Client).

  • Ascot SLAs are achieved utilising the Service Desk and Portal’s.

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, development, prioritisation and implementation of new contracts.

  • Drive and develop new income streams with new and existing clients
  • Delivery of agreed budget and day to day commercial management of client accounts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development).
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for the SMT and the LT.
  • Set the example by modelling positive leadership behaviours, continue improvement principles and effective problem solving.
