PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

We’re seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to drive our colour cosmetics category partnering with one of Australia’s largest retailers. Reporting to the Senior National Business Manager Chemist Warehouse, you will actively contribute to the development of sales strategies that drive growth and elevate brand performance. You will have a love for establishing and maintaining strong and enduring retail customer relationships as well as an analytical mindset able to translate data into actionable insights that fuel growth and commercial success.

Responsibilities

Drive and maximise sales across your assigned categories and brands within Chemist Warehouse by building and managing proactive, successful customer relationships.
Manage the planning & execution of promotional & NPD plans in line with brand and customer strategy, optimizing trade spend, partnering with customers on key strategic initiatives.
Manage stock and financial forecasting including trade investment within agreed spend guidelines for Chemist Warehouse.
Manage the execution of weekly/monthly/annually sales reviews & 6 monthly strategy sessions across your assigned categories and brands within the portfolio.
Maintain close contact with key stakeholders, highlighting planned strategies to develop profitable business and gathering information for future business plans and initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, category, eCommerce, supply & finance to achieve sales & share growth.
Analyse data to identify sales, share & profit opportunities & initiatives to maximise return on trade spend investment
Provide historical trend analysis and modelling for business forecasts and proposals.
Liaise with retailer inventory planners to drive sales performance through stock levels, purchases, timing & stock turn performance
General sales administrative support including the development of sales promotions, temporary price reductions and over and above trade investment.
Ad hoc projects or tasks as required

Qualifications and experience
Tertiary qualification in commerce, other business studies, or another relevant discipline highly regarded
Minimum 4+ years account management.
Organisational and time management skills
Excellent computer skills in MS Office including Excel skills at a high level.
Strong modelling skills using Excel a must
Experience with SAP & business objects a plus
Strong analytical & numeric skills with Aztec/Nielsen knowledge a plus
Background/experience in the Pharmacy, FMCG or Beauty background a plus
Special requirements
